Bread for diet: presentation
Bread is usually tolerated in diets but with much moderation. This bread that I present to you today is not really bread because neither the ingredients nor the preparation match what we all understand as bread. But this preparation, with the appearance of rich golden bread and with its seeds, perfectly suits the times of this one to prepare sandwiches being on diet and without feeling guilty.
The preparation is so easy. Just mix the ingredients and bake. The result is a salty Biscuit that will support to the thousand wonder the filling that you want to put it. It is made with egg whites, fresh beaten cheese (quark type), oat bran (very rich in fiber) and a little chemical yeast or baking powder. Flax seeds serve to make it more appetizing. The result of this preparation is a bagel very satiating for the fiber that contributes the bran of oats, very proteinic for the egg whites and the cheese and very little caloric.
Today I present the bread and another day and I’ll give you some more idea of light snack to fill it. For now, I’ll tell you that if you put fat-free ham, French omelette or a natural tuna hash, hardboiled egg and spiced tomatoes, you’ll have a delicious sandwich. In addition the final weight of this bagel is 150 grams, nothing to do with the 30 or 40 grams of bread that are usually allowed in diets.

Bread for diet: preparation of the recipe
- – Start by starting the oven at 250º C.
2.-In a bowl beat the egg whites until they foam. They do not need to reach the snow point. Add the fresh cheese, the oat bran, the salt, the royal type yeast and beat well until a homogeneous mixture is left. Grease a mold lined with foil with a few drops of oil and spread it with your fingers. Pour the preparation into the mold and smooth the surface with a spatula. If you use a mold type plum cake, it will be the ideal measure so that once finished, split it in half you have two slices. Cover the surface with a few flax seeds.
3.-Insert the mold in the oven at medium height with heat up and down until it is browned well. This may take ten to fifteen minutes. Once golden, it is removed from the oven and the aluminum foil is easily detached. If it is glued, allow it to cool slightly and release without difficulty. Let cool on top of a grid because it gives off a lot of moisture.
You can prepare them in advance and consume it whenever you prefer. I recommend that once prepared, consume throughout the day.
